The Earl and The Enchantress by Paullett Golden

This is a superb piece of historical romance, brilliantly narrated by Golden, who debuts in style here. Following the story and conversations Lizbeth and Sebastien is a delight, as evidently they delve deeper than mere superficiality. The characterization has been handled pretty well, as Golden weaves in effective foils for almost all characters - for instance, for Lizbeth's nerdy, shy, but intelligent self, we have her spoiled sister; for Sebastien, we have Lizbeth's brother-in-law who is shallow and cannot have a moment of maturity. This sets a good tone for the book. This was a sweet read and I loved the perfect pacing throughout. My thanks to Golden for gifting me with a copy of this book.
