Parables from the Grave by K. R. Watts

This short-story collection from Watts turned out to be a delightful read! While the thematic premise of the collection may sound daunting at first, with meta-physical references and the ever-fearful question of looming death, and its after-math, don't let that fool you into thinking that the book is not meant to be fun. The stories are pensive, thought-provoking, and at the same are laced with humor, and reminiscences. The characterization is done splendidly well, which is a balm to a reader's mind! All characters have been woven pretty well, and Watts takes the time and effort to help the reader understand and empathize with each character. Sid's story and the grammar plot was particularly brilliant! The stories are good to be read at one go, or work well as stand-alone stories. Watts has a clear winner here, and I look forward to reading more of his books. My thanks to Watts and VRO for gifting me with a copy of this lovely book.
