This was a beautiful tale, weaving together fantasy concepts of world building, a Keystone that connects and keeps all the worlds in sync, including our modern world, and makes it possible to realm shift from one world to another, magical scholars, and extraordinary characters with out-of-the world powers. The first half was a tad slow to move along, but the pace picked up soon enough and was gripping later on..
