Review:

This is my first Gretchen McNeil book and I totes enjoyed reading her new YA thriller. The pacy plotline follows Kate's adventures who finds herself unwillingly entangled in a double murder. The story kept me glued, and the surprise turns were refreshingly interesting. Be it her indignation to stand up for herself and prove to her parents that she can keep herself afloat, or her never-ending self-doubts, or her fear-filled-curiosity that gets her into trouble more often than she would like to admit, Kate is just all of us and we cannot help empathizing with her quite often. This is a definite must-read and my thanks to McNeil, the publishers Disney-Hyperion, and Jaime Arnold of Rockstar BT for gifting me with a copy of this book.
