| This was a spectacularly powerful set of poems by Carter. Each one delves deep into many layers of emotions, memories, regrets, the yearning for things that could have been better, and the hope resting in the soul to set things right. The language is endearing and the writing, wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this compilation and am looking forward to reading more works from Carter. My thanks to Carter for gifting me with a copy of this book. |
