Devoted by Dean Koontz
Whew! That was one hell of a ride! It’s been a while since I caught hold of a thriller as pacy and rays as this one. Koontz revives his gripping narration style that was resplendent in Watchers - and coincidentally, Kipp in this book reminded me so much of Einstein in Watchers, both of them having been exceptional four legged wonders. Nevertheless, the plot was quite novel and riveting - Lee and his malicious narcissistic intentions, Woodrow and his precocious ingenuity, Megan and her unwavering maternal instincts, all ensure that they keep us hooked to the book from start to finish. This surely deserves a start-to-finish read.
